It creates a 1KB size COM file which does not much more than checking if it can read all sectors of a FAT12 or FAT16 partition. A very "basic" start for a "real" ScanDisk. As the file is not very large, i have the executable attached, just in case you want to put it in the files archive too. I had a quick look at the Pascal source and this looks much more promising. It seems to be able to handle even FAT32 partitions, but i don't know how far. have a good night, Ralf
