This is the French Cursive font, a cursive hand-writing font family in the style of the French academic running-hand, written with Metafont. This package is dated February 2nd, 2004. Installation ------------ Copy the files from the "mf" subdirectory somewhere in Metafont's search path and the files from the "latex" subdirectory somewhere in LaTeX's search path. On Unix, the top-level Makefile can be used to install the files. Become root and just type "make install" to copy the files in a place appropriate for TeX distributions that respect the hierarchy standard. You may change the value of the variables at the beginning of the Makefile if you don't want to install the files in "/usr/share/texmf/...". You may have to update TeX's databases by running "texhash" or "mktexlsr" (this is for Kpathsea-based distributions like teTeX) or a similar command. Usage ----- The "doc" directory contains some documentation, but more would be a good thing. The file "latex/frcursive.dtx" contains documentation for the LaTeX package. The "test" directory contains some examples in plain TeX and LaTeX. Look at doc/FILES for a more descriptive list of files.
