$Id: README,v 2.14 2004/12/05 19:02:43 lehman public $ ABOUT The Font Installation Guide discusses the most common scenarios you are likely to encounter when installing Type 1 Postscript fonts. While the individual tools employed in the installation process are documented well, the actual difficulty most users are facing when trying to install new fonts is understanding how to put all the pieces together. This is what this guide is about. FILES fontinstallationguide.pdf This is the actual guide in PDF format. The PDF file is formatted for A4 paper. When printed on US Letter paper, the margins will be off but all text will still fit on the page. figuide-examples.tar.gz This archive includes all fontinst and style files discussed in the guide. They may be used unaltered or as templates for new installation scripts or style files. figuide-source.tex.gz This is the source of the guide, provided as a monolithic file. This file is a slightly modified version of the sources used to generate the PDF file. Note that it is not intended for typesetting in its present form. Please see the comments in the file for details. CHANGES A complete list of changes is included at the end of fontinstallationguide.pdf.
