Overview
The contents of this page are excerpts from the rtf2latex2e homepage (external link) which however isn't available any longer on Dec. 13, 2001.
rtf2latex2e is a utility to convert RTF files from popular word processors to the LaTeX2e format for those who give a damn about quality typesetting. rtf2latex2e uses the RTF reader (external link) package by Paul DuBois to parse the RTF code and generates an appropriate LaTeX (external link) file.
rtf2latex2e was written on the Macintosh and ported to most major platforms including Linux, Solaris, and Win95/NT.
