The psync package is a collection of perl scripts to manipulate files on MacOS X
including:

 pcpmac     - CpMac reimplemented
 pmvmac     - MvMac reimplemented
 pgetfinfo  - GetFileInfo reimplemented
 psetfinfo  - SetFile reimplemented
 psync      - update copy utility
  
They use the MacOSX::File perl package.
